Dr. Metz is a Diplomate with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and has successfully treated hundreds of patients with sleep apnea utilizing the Metz Appliance as an alternative or complement to CPAP. If you have patients who have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and are having difficulty utilizing the CPAP, the METZ Center can help. Our staff is specially trained in working with sleep apnea patients. In addition, we have the skill and technology to design a product  that fits right and causes the least amount of discomfort and inconvenience for the patient.

Historic Office Location

The METZ Center is located in a historical building located just east of downtown Columbus on East Broad Street. METZ renovated the building in the style of the arts and crafts movement, a late-19th century design movements in the United State and England born as a reaction to the heavily c Victorian style. The movement stressed simplicity and craftsmanship, a mass production. With the newly renovated office, Metz can now share his approach with his peers. For all honey charm, the office is a decidedly high-tech environment. At least 17,000 feet of data cable courses its way through the structure providing the practice with state-of the-art equipment in a tranquil environment.

Peer Networking and Education

The office also serves as part-time teaching facility. Dr. Metz continually hosts meetings with dentists from around the country. During these meetings, he and other DENTISTS, who have a special interest in sleep medicine, demonstrate their craft. The METZ Center's vision is to be the nation's leading dental sleep medicine and resource center for dentists who are interested in providing solutions for patients with snoring and sleep apnea problems.
